Fleet Foxes – Lola’s 9/26/08 from You and Yours on Vimeo.

Fleet Foxes rolled through Fort Worth last month. The Friday night show at Lola’s was a precursor to their Saturday performance at Austin’s ACL Fest. You and Yours Productions was at Lola’s for the show and captured this wonderful video. “English House,” leads off with a mesmerizing clip of “Sun Giant,” both from the Sun Giant EP.

Todd Snider

Former Texas (now Tennessee) singer-songwriter Todd Snider is giving it away. His latest, Peace Queer, is available for free digital download… or, $8.98 for the disc if you need something to hold.

The man who brought us “Beer Run” and “Talkin’ Seattle Grunge Rock Blues” delivers social commentary on this six-song EP. Highlights include “The Ballad of Cape Henry,” featuring Patty Griffin, and a bluesy cover of CCR’s “Fortunate Son.”
